Challenge:

To show the Independent Lens brand as a respite from the daily news polarization and to respond to our country's divisive and often conflicting beliefs with a positive message of togetherness.

We’re a place to meet our neighbors and witness their unique stories, not their stereotypes.

Strategy: The ties that bind are stronger than those that divide.

Solution

This spot introduces us to our neighbors who live beyond our block so we can find common ground with each other’s struggles, even when we fundamentally disagree about the solutions to our problems. 

We partnered with Washington Square Films who produced the campaign and noted Director Mark Pellington.
